Founded in 1997, the Metropolitan Los Angeles Branch (MLAB) is dedicated to serving its more than 3,000 members through its cooperation with the Los Angeles Section and the national organization of ASCE. MLAB’s membership is the largest in the country and its breadth of engineering experience is demonstrated in the many volunteers who give their time and efforts to the betterment of the profession and the society.

In addition to programs, networking possibilities and newsletters, the MLAB offers guidance to young aspiring engineers through their five Branch universities. That dedication continues with the award-winning MLAB Younger Member Forum (YMF) offering continuing engineering exposure, communication and socialization amongst younger engineers.

The MLAB Board warmly invites you to browse through the site and allow us to accommodate any needs we can in furthering your desire to serve the engineering community as well as your own engineering future.
