About the Event

The student symposium has successfully created engagement between university students and industry professionals from across Southern California since 2017. The program is oriented to be multidisciplinary and interactive with students, professors, researchers, and professionals. The purpose for the student symposium event is to help improve the knowledge and capabilities of university students by bringing forward important issues from within the lifeline infrastructure practice and allowing students to communicate their work to prominent infrastructure system organizations.


The Symposium will be held from 1-5PM at the Beckman Institute Auditorium on the Caltech Campus. The event will include presentations from students, Lifeline Infrastructure System Organizations, and hazard researchers on topics related to Future Directions for Infrastructure System Resilience. The forum will encourage open discussion between participants.  Full schedule to be provided soon.


Refreshments will be provided during breaks.
