Salary: Grade 7 $99,270 to $168,020

Job Description:
 

The Capital Projects Manager reports to the Director of Capital Projects and Facilities. This position is directly responsible for the management of design and construction projects from planning through implementation. In addition, this position performs a variety of activities supporting all of Foothill Transit’s activities.

The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment. A positive, results-oriented attitude is an absolute must. Experience and an advanced degree in a related field or PMP (or equivalent) are highly desirable. 
 

Qualifications:

        Minimum Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, document management, contracts management, cost forecasting

• Knowledge of construction materials, methods and techniques

• Knowledge of construction applicable codes

• Understanding of NEPA and CEQA
  
  Education and/or Experience

• Four-year college degree (BS) in related field or PMP (or equivalent) and demonstrated hands-on design and/ or construction management experience 

• Five years of project management/construction management
