As we embark on a new year, I am honored to welcome each and everyone to our incredible community. I am excited and optimistic of what this year has to offer, where the themes of growth and collaboration, community engagement, and professional development will guide our path.

Growth and Collaboration: These two are key components to ensuring the livelihood of our branch and maximizing its impact in our community. This upcoming year, we want to continue focusing on welcoming new members and reengaging our colleagues. Through personal invites and joint events with the LA Younger Member Forum( YMF), we can tap into the diverse expertise and unique experiences that our community has to offer. 

 

Community Engagement: Our role as civil engineers extends beyond technical excellence; we are also stewards of our community. Engaging with local universities, non-profits, private firms, public agencies, and communities is crucial to understanding their needs and aspirations.

 

Professional Development: Continuous learning and growth are essential in our ever-evolving field. Our branch is committed to providing opportunities for professional development through technical tours, seminars, and networking events. Whether you are a seasoned professional or just starting your career, we aim to support your journey and help you achieve your full potential.
